Drink Mixers

A drink mixer is a handheld utensil used for combining drinks by shaking. It is also know as a cocktail shaker. This tool is usually used for alcoholic drinks. It is seen in bars or night clubs, and commonly comes in two or more pieces.  Adding some ice in the drink mixer makes the beverage cooler before serving. A jar gourd was used as a drink mixer back in 7000 BCE.

Also check the capacity of the mixer. Most tilt-head mixers can accommodate from six to eight cups capacity only, while the lift-bowl type commonly can contain twelve to fourteen cups. If your baking needs do not require big volumes (for personal use only), then it is practical to choose a smaller mixer. This will help you save space and will be easier to handle.
