Hand Mixers

Hand mixers are smaller and enough for small and light tasks.  Usually it is equipped with two beaters. It also has great speed and operates silently. It is often used in beating eggs, cream or whip. It was designed to be used while being held easily. Its weight is light and is also much easier to use in doing simple tasks.

These are also capable of holding various attachments. Some of these are the dough hooks and wire whip. These tools give the capability for the mixer to do different tasks. It can not perform the tasks of stand mixers.

A hand mixer, as one might deduce from the name, is held with the hand. It usually is a handle placed over an enclosure which will contain the motor that drives the one or two beaters that is or are connected to it. The beaters are then placed into the food, or mixture. It is portable and easy to use. This simple, ingenious device was created in the year 1870 by a man with the name Sir Walter Scott of Providence.
